Typing for High Achievers
Our students from the UK’s top selective schools, including Eaton, Haberdashers, City of London, understand the importance of this life-skill to help them when: completing online homework, for future studies (hearing a lecture and typing in real time) and work employability (taking notes in meetings in real time).
Our primary aged students in the past have gained scores of between 20-30wpm with 95%+ accuracy which is double and triple the average for handwriting!
While our 15-year-olds have historically gained scores of between 60-70wpm with 95%+ accuracy, with practice. Again, this is over double the average handwriting speed for a teen!
All courses are delivered by qualified Specialist Teachers with at least 35 years experience in teaching and supporting children both in school and privately.
How High Achievers Can Benefit From Touch Typing
- Stamping out bad habits, e.g Caps Lock, Backspace, that will take typing speed to new levels.
- Working on note-taking, copying concisely from a board.
- Improving dictation skills for lectures in further education.
